My favorite holiday!

After a wonderful morning at an egg hunt we came home to dye eggs. This is my favortie thing to do with my kids. The weather was so so nice we took them outside. They wanted to dye eggs in their fort so we did. It was fun.

Are we invited???

A Chocolate egg as big as his head!

I love love love PEEPS!

Then it was off to the Turcos for Easter brunch!

A boy and his egg!

Brock has always had a thing for eggs. I have two glass eggs and he always wants to hold them. Like most things I have no idea why this started. He came home from school with a 'baby egg'. It is going to hatch and a baby chick will be coming out. He carried this hard boiled egg for days until it finally 'disapeared'. Joe and I wanted so badly to buy a baby chick just to see his face. But then what would we do with a baby duck???

Brock to tell the creepy guy at the petting zoo all about it. He stalked this chicken until they decided it would be better off in its cage.

Here are some pictures of us with our buddies.

I love this picture of Brock and Tyler. Tyler is telling him how to hunt the eggs.

Goofy boys after a water balloon fight! They had a blast and played by the rules...RULE ONE...NO CRYING. RULE TWO...Don't hit in the face. RULE THREE...I SAID NO CRYING!

We welcomed a new friend, Ethan Brautigam!

Baby Chase...

He was once so tiny!

He walked at 9 months!

He still gets this same expression when he is curious!

Sears put this picture on their wall during Christmas...he is so beautiful.

He sucked these fingers until he was five and we put in a orthodontic device!

This is how I was greated every morning at 5 am. Now we drag him out of bed for school.

His favorite place in the world was the beach!

I thought this would be fun but the tears are starting to roll down my cheeks!

I have a 9 year old???

Chase is 9? You must be kidding. Just last week he was my Suck-a-too Jumping Bean. For the first time in my parenting I can say "stop growing so fast" and really really mean it. I am guilty of wishing away the little days. You know the ones I am talking about the fit throwing, non-sleeping, can I please wear a clean shirt days? Time seemed to move so slow back then...maybe it was the lack of sleep. I do miss those days but I am so happy to say that I can wear white again and I only have to wipe my own bottom and for the most part I do that entirely ALONE!!!

Chase has really changed alot in the last year. He is so smart and funny. He has started to get some of the sarcasim that I love to use. I love to hear his giggle as it seems awhile since I have heard it so often. He is struggling so hard with his relationship with his brother lately. It seems that this is something he will continually have to work with and things do get good...its like a roller coaster. Some days I am crazy with the bickering and others they are holed up in their bedrooms playing together...I long for those days of play! Chase is still an A student who loves reading, scouts, and chess club. We are very proud of him!

Here they are with their derby cars! We did good this year almost took third place.

Lazer Tag!!!

See why I feel old? The little boys are now tall enough to play lazer tag! It was halarious watch them run around the arena with all this heavy gear on. Man what a fun time we had.

Ben Franklin in 24 hours...thanks to all of my former teacher turned to stay-at-homes for all the great ideas.

The Donut cake! He loved it.
