Chaser-rama-bo-binski

Fun with the sand. Chase is growing up so fast. Too fast for me to keep up with. The title is his nickname given to him as a baby by my brother Derek. When I look at him I can still see the little baby in his big boy face. Why do they grow up so fast?

Fun at the park. No matter how old I get I still wish I was small enough to play on these at the park...a few brewski's and maybe......

Sadly, this is the first tree he has climbed.

Chase and Grandpa Brian...prectchie as Chase used to call him.

A self portrait.

Brocky Bro Bro.

Brock is in love with his Grandma. She is his favorite person in the world. I said something about Santa Clause and said he said "I want Grandma to come down the chimney." When we say we are going to eat he gets all excited and asks "At Grandma's house?" It makes me feel so bad for living so far away from home.

This is not just a cute picture. This is his face as I beg him to come down so we can leave. What a little turd.

Vacation over load!!! Brocks favorite thing to do at Grandmas was to stack rocks in the driveway. His face was always filthy.

Oh he can be so sweet...when he wants to be.

Its official he has a brain. He can see it when he looks up!

New Mexico

My best friend Sonya lives in Albuquerque. We stopped for a few days to see her family. We spent the day at the zoo and stopped to feed the giraffees. I think he liked the smell of my pits...glad someone did.

They had to ride the camel. Chase and Brock were up for it but Andrew tried to get off. Just as I was about to get him down the zoo keeper smacked the camels rear and said "Thats the worst of it!" Poor Andrew...I think it was the worst experience of his life.

Here are the monkeys at the zoo!

Shiprock New Mexico. This rock is just standing right in the middle of no where.

This reminds me of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind...yummm...I love mashed potatos...

On the way home!

Moab Utah. It is the most beautiful place on earth. The rock formations are amazing. Next time we go we plan on spending a couple of days here exploring Arches National State Park. This canyon is called Park Ave. It is amazing and the boys got to hear echos. Again another great video I need to post...great memories.

I was not up for exploring too much. If you look close you can see the edge to the cliff just a few feet behind them. I was a nervous wreck. And Chase was whining that he wanted to go hiking! Good gravy.

Brock pooped here...not many people can say that. Road trip and potty training...two things that dont go together!

Sights along the way there.

On the way there we went up through Oklahoma and over through Kansas. There was not much to see. In fact Chase counted only 14 other cars that we saw ALL THE WAY through Kansas. His eyes were open through the whole state. He wanted to see a tornado so bad. I thought the windmills were very cool.

Yes...I took a picture of the welcome signs...if they had them. Minus the garbage can this was a good window pic. Why is there a trash can??? Interesting it is in the middle of no where.

This is in Denver. The house on top is the Jetsons. It was built for the movie.

Oh the Rocky Mountians. Such a sweet sight. I had not seen a mountian in two years...thats a long time for an Idahodian. :) To get to the other side of the mountians we had to go through here...

I don't know how long it was but it was very long...and claustrophobic.

This is the western side of the Rockies. The rocks are jagged and big boulders look like they were just thrown...something very violent happened here.

Hammer and Nails

This is Porter, Jenny's youngest boy. He is six. What I just love about this little boy is the sparkle in his eye and his big smile. He has the same look of excitement that he had as a baby...I just love it. That and he is a go getter...nothing shy about him.

Meet Forrest, Jennys eldest boy. He is 6 days younger than Chase and a whole lot of fun. His biggest love is action heros and fishing with Grandma. Forrest never forgets a thing. He remembers stuff about our last visit that even I cant remember. I love him to pieces

Three Amigos Lemonade!

This was awesome and entertained the kids for hours. The funny thing is that there was not another person in sight...we adults drank a lot of kool-aid. They made nearly ten bucks off us! Pretzels were free though...

Sugar & Spice....

Don't let their looks fool you! These two girls can keep up with any boy!

Elizabeth is on the left and is the spittin image of my little sister Jenny. Jayden Alex (much cuter than her daddy) has my little brothers beautiful brown eyes. Not to mention his energy. Watching them play was so great. I don't have daughters so I am just so very glad that I have such great nieces.

Little Miss Vandy Pants!

Meet Vandy. She is the Littlest Sweetest Wheeler. I love the hair. She is the best baby I have been around in a long time. She is always happy...unless someone will not share their food! Vandy is a competive world champion eater...she holds the records for floor eating. She beat Max to it everytime! I just love her to pieces. I bet she can eat most anyone under the table...hands down.

The Brat Pack!

The six oldest cousins were inseparable!
Airport park. I used to play here when I was a kid. They all climbed inside the tank together. I wanted to get in so bad...just like the old days but then I remembered my bff's brother took a leak in there and I couldn't do it. hehehe...no really I didn't think I would make it out!
Ride on! Aunt Jen with the kiddos. I can't believe we have children old enough to ride with out training wheels. Last time we were all together it was whining and diaper changing...oh wait they still whine. Where has the time gone? I love them all so much...thats enough posting for tonight I am getting misty eyed...WAAAAAA!

Going to Grandma and Grandpa's!

Well we did it and survived. We drove all the way to Blackfoot Idaho to see my family. It was a crazy idea but we had so much fun. The kids were awesome in the car. I was the only one saying "Are we there yet?" It took us two full days of driving to get there. I have so many great pictures that it may take several posts. Plus coming soon...video of the great water balloon attack. Water fighting is a fierce competitive sport in my family. It is even rumored that one adult will even take the hose into the house. :)

Cub Scout Camp!

This was Chase's first year at Cub Scout Daycamp at Camp Strake. I volunteered two days and we went together for Fridays family day. We had so much fun. I love to spend time with Chase with out Brock and it is so much fun to see Chase being crazy with his buds. An added plus is after spending time with a large group of boys it always makes it easier to come home and deal with just two. :)

Chase earned many belt loops: archery, wood building and the coveted BB gun belt loop. I was not there for that one...thirteen boys with BB guns would have sent me over the edge. Chase is so fun and outgoing. I am going to try to post the video of him leading the group in a cheer in front of the entire camp. It was so awesome. I was so proud.
